Sales Target
For: Admins — monthly or yearly rupee targets by Indian state, city, or user
Subtitle: Set targets per state, city, or user. Overall = sum of state targets. Amounts use the company base currency symbol. Changed cells highlight amber until Save.
Settings → Sales → Sales target → tab + period → amounts → Save
What this is for
1. Period and overall
Target Type: Monthly or Yearly
Month / Financial Year: Month picker (MMM YYYY) or FY picker
What it affects: Which period the grid loads and Save writes. It does not post journals
2. State / City / User tabs
State Wise: One row per India state. Columns State and Monthly Target or Yearly Target
City Wise: Requires State first (Select a state to see its cities). Columns City and target amount
User Wise: Company users (name + email) and target amount
What it affects: Stored sales targets for that scope and period. Overall in the header is the state sum — not division or branch

Pick the tab, Target Type, and period. On City Wise, pick State.

Type amounts. Click Save (shows a count of changed rows).
Note: Hub text that mentions division and branch does not match this screen. The live grid is state, city, and user only.
Business rules

| Overall | Header Overall (sum of states target) is the sum of State Wise amounts for that period. City and User tabs show the stored overall, not a live re-sum of those tabs |
| Yearly period | Financial year is April–March. Picker shows FY YYYY-YY. Monthly uses the calendar month |
| Save | Save (n) writes only dirty rows whose amount is greater than 0. Empty / zero dirty rows are skipped. Button stays disabled until something changed |
