The Analytics module goes beyond tabular reports. It presents your business data as live charts, KPI cards, and trend visualisations — so you can see what's happening at a glance, not just audit what happened.

How to access analytics

Log in to ABSS Books and click 'Analytics' in the left sidebar.

Select the analytics section: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, or Customer.

The dashboard loads with the current month's data by default.

Use the date range picker at the top to change the period (e.g., last 6 months, last financial year).

Hover over any chart bar or pie segment to see the exact value and breakdown.

Click a chart element to drill down into the underlying transactions.
Who can view analytics?
Analytics dashboards are visible to users with the Admin or Manager role. Sales Analytics is also visible to the Sales role (limited to their own data). The Accountant role sees Financial analytics only. You can customise access per user under Settings → Users & Permissions.
